What a charming B&B this is, and Madelyn and John are consummate hosts. But be sure to bring your appetite, because Madelyn is a marvelous cook and believes in feeding lumberjack-size portions for breakfast
The B&B itself is beautifully decorated. Everything is so comfortable, and there are lots of places to sit and enjoy a good book, a fireplace, or TV watching. The beds and baths are appointed with lovely linens and great mattresses. The gardens are gorgeous, and while you're there, go say hello to "the girls" - Madelyn's dozen or so hens that provide delicious brown eggs for breakfast.
And just in case you can't wait for breakfast, every night Madelyn puts out a fresh baked treat for guests to help themselves to a bedtime snack.
