Suggested B&B to stay in when visiting Galvaton

You are so right, the Queen Anne is a wonderful B & B.  Beth and George made our stay there memorable.  The home is beautiful, the accommodations comfortable, the hosts entertaining, and the food is delicious.  My husband and I have traveled across the southern United States and will only stay in B & B's.  The Queen Anne ranks as one of our all-time favorites.  We do plan on returning to stay with Beth and George the next time we are in Galveston.

My girlfriend and I walked through the Queen Anne. The B&B and the host were very nice.

We stayed at Grace Manor which I give an A+ recommendation. Barb the owner was great.

    Hi,
Try The Coppersmith Inn (www.coppersmithinn.com). My husband and I stayed there for our first wedding aniversary and are considering staying there again if we are not able to go out of town (we live about an hour from Galveston). I cannot say enough about the host, the breakfast or just the Inn itself. It is in an old Victorian house, and filled with antiques to add to the comfort and charm that it naturally brings. We stayed in Victoria's Room and loved it! Although the house was full at the time we were there, we never heard anyone else except for when we went down for breakfast the next morning.

A visit to The Queen Anne B&B, centrally located in Galvastons historic district, ensures comfortable lodging, warm hospitality, and a delicious breakfast. Upon arrival, guests find cheese, crackers, grapes, and wine awaiting them; complimentary beverages are stocked in the guest refrigerator and available anytime. Early morning coffee is served prior to breafast in the sunroom. There is much to see and do when visiting Galveston, and The Queen Anne provides bicycles for guests to use during their stay.

I concur with Maxine on The Queen Anne. It has many attractive amenities. The house has been lovingly restored, and has a rich family history about it. Glad that the island missed the brunt of the recent hurricanes. There are so many historical homes on the island. Quite a gem.
