    Trail's End Bed and Breakfast

There is a charming bed and breakfast that is really off the beaten path. It's somewhere between Austin and Lago Vista. It's in Leander, out in the country near a lake.

The home is lovely. The owners are pleasant, friendly, and helpful. I was in the area on business and stayed one night. I'm not a breakfast person, so I can't comment on the food.

I loved the serene surroundings and the huge bedroom and the private large private bath with a Jacuzzi. I'd like to return and spend a couple of days when I don't have to work and can lounge about.

    Trail's End Bed and Breakfast

I would not call this a find Because it is probably well known but after staying in B&B's in Texas the George Blucher house is worth a trip. One of the best. http://www.georgeblucherhouse.com/

    Trail's End Bed and Breakfast

Sadly, the Trail's End B&B is no longer. It was sold many months ago, and is now a residence only.

Yes, the George Blucher House B&B is a real gem. The owner is also quite talented in making captivating dishes and has done an impressive restoration of an historic house. Read about our recent feature here - http://www.southpoint.com/states/tx/christi/blucher.html
