Please Help Hurricane Ike Victims (information courtesy of PAII)
Due to Hurricane Ike seven middle and elementary schools in lower Terrebonne Parish in Louisiana were flooded. Some schools suffered more damage than others, but the majority of schools suffered enough damage that left the classrooms bare of essential supplies. Six of these seven schools will be reopening this week, with extremely bare necessities for instruction.
Considering that most of the teachers and students homes were flooded as well, these teachers and students are in need of basic school supplies.
We are asking that you consider the loss that these teachers and students have suffered and donate a small item or cash to help them in whichever way that you can to:

Please make any cash donations out to the Barataria- Terrebonne Estuary Foundation. All funds will be transferred to the schools in lower Terrebonne Parish.
