I am searching for a full time, live in position with an established, busy B&B. I have plenty of service related work in my background (albeit not in a B&B yet). From cleaning private homes five days a week through the 80's and most of the 90's, to four years catering to rock stars for Philadelphia based concert promoters Electric Factory Concerts (back in the 70's). I also spent two years working on a Palm Beach based private yacht as a cook/stewardess, and from one extreme to the other, I spent a year or two serving drinks and burgers and catching the occasional flying bottles in a biker bar.
With the exception of the last twelve years, my employment history has always been service related work and I've learned to appreciate and respect all people. I love staying busy and working hard, I'm a morning person, up early and ready to go. I can/will work inside or out, I actually enjoy cleaning and I'm very thorough and detail oriented....I also enjoy doing outside work, I'm not afraid to get dirty, and I know how to handle/use basic tools. I can also help out in the kitchen whenever needed. I learned to make some pretty fancy hors d'oeuvres on that yacht :-) I'm always interested in learning new things and absolutely do not mind pitching in where ever needed. If you'd like to teach me other aspects of running a B&B to give yourself time for other things, or to give yourself some time off....I'm totally open to that.
I could even paint some wonderful murals for you if you like ;-) Did I mention I've spent the last twelve years as a mural artist?
All I require is a small, comfortable, private room plus salary, and lots of work to keep me busy. I will consider all locations, but would prefer east coast. I am mature, honest, trustworthy, hard working, able to multi-task, and very dependable.
