Recently, my husband and I were able to spend one night at the Scenic Overlook B&B, we have just married and the stay was very special and memorable to our evening.  We stayed in a room that overlooked gorgeous mountains, and a pond that was a perfect touch to the scenery.  The room was very cozy, and gas logs had already been started for us when we arrived, it could not have been more elegant and welcoming.  Everything that surrounded us, from the room to the outside was perfect, it felt like home with extra peace and quiet.  Breakfast was great as well, we had eggs, sausage, canteloupe, and a peach pastry that paired so well with the coffee and orange juice.  I will definatley return to this Bed and Breakfast, located just off highway 52, in Pilot Mountain North Carolina. I suggest the Scenic Overlook to anyone wanting to experience a piece of mind and an elegant stay.  Gayle and Allen Steinbecker were the most welcoming and friendly owners, you go once and you will feel like a part of family.
