Seeking an innkeeper

for the Casa del Gavilan Historic Inn in Cimarron, New Mexico. Situated at the edge of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains the Casa del Gavilan is a place of uncommon tranquility completely surrounded by Philmont Scout Ranch. Our current innkeeper of 10 years is retiring. We are seeking a self-motivated individual, or couple, to run the inn for 9-11 months per year. This is a hands-on position requiring the innkeeper to cook, clean, occasionally clean guest rooms, assist with laundry, and do a little light gardening. Housekeepers do much of the room cleaning but innkeeper will be responsible for some as well. Previous experience preferred but not essential. Computer skills are useful but not required. Non-smoker with no pets preferred. Applicants must have superior references, excellent people skills, be detail oriented, and provide superior hospitality. Private suite is provided for on-site housing. Paid utilities except for private phone. Salary $15,000 per year plus January off.

Hello my name is Kristina Pierce. My husband and I are looking to manage B&B together. I have experience in office management, real estate assisting and homeowner Associations. I recently managed the 21 East Battery Bed & Breakfast in downtown Charleston, SC. I am looking to get back into this with the help of my husband. He has been the owner of a Painting and Remodeling company for years and would be great at maintaining any establishment. He has done new construction, remodeling, and upkeep at several Resort Vacation Management Companies. These homes were in St. George Island, Florida. While living in Florida we both worked for St. George Plantation Owners' Association in one way or another. I worked as the Administrative Coordinator and Architectural Review Committee Coordinator for the homeowners'. While he did Subcontractor work within the community. I hope there is someone out there who sees that we would be a great pair to manage their property. Contact us with any proposals.
