I have a posting seeking a small inn to manage or help manage on this site. Please refer to the posting entitled, "Seasoned, Bright, Friendly Professional Seeking..." It was just posted yesterday.

To tell you a little about me, I am originally from Chicago and am just leaving a long-term corporate career in North Carolina. I have worked in Hospitality over the years, as a Training and Development professional, and as a Membership & Social Director.

Please don't think that I am afraid of the work it takes to run an inn. I know that it requires rolling up your sleeves to clean, cook, resolve problems on the property, and manage the office, while smiling and always putting the guests first. I had some small exposure to this when visiting an inn in Colorado (where I was asked to live and manage the inn but declined at the time,) and in Mendocino where a mutual friend ran a small, quaint inn.

Please feel free to read my listing. I wondered if your inn is near Batavia? My sister lived there in 2001 while I was living in Naperville. Thanks in advance!

Kay

Seeking Innkeeper for Midwest B&B

Seeking innkeeper/innkeeper couple for 4-guest room B&B. Part-time, possible full-time, live-in arrangement. Customer service oriented, excellent housekeeping skills & attention to detail. Located in historic Swedish village in Western IL. Ideal opportunity for person/couple looking to get into the business or try the lifestyle. Non-smoking. Please email us with your background and interest: info@bishophillbb.com
