    Whistlewood Farm, a wonderful place

My daughter's wedding was held Saturday at Whistlewood Farm, a horse farm and bed-and-breakfast three miles outside of Rhinebeck, NY.  It is a peaceful setting with open pastures, a beautifully decorated guest house with comfortable beds and pillows, and Maggie, a wonderful host who serves absolutely delicious breakfasts and who, along with her cousin Lou, offers terrific hospitality.  I would highly recommend Whistlewood for an idyllic stay.

    Marcia,

Thank you for your note.  Maggie IS wonderful!  She is one of my favorite innkeepers.   Love her open kitchen and the carriage house rooms are awesome.

If anyone would like more info on Whistlewood and the surrounding Hudson Valley, here is a link to the report we did a couple of years ago.    http://www.bedandbreakfast.com/report/Jul-Aug-01/story1.htm

There is much to do in the valley.  Each season has it's own special charm.   I know, it's my backyard.  wink
