Objective:
* Resident GM(s)/Innkeeper(s) of a Bed and Breakfast in a California coastal community which will accommodate my Wife (available for a team assignment) and 7lb. Papillon (Milo, our little guy.. http://MiloBuddy.com ). He’s been the ‘mascot’ at both the properties we’ve managed, neither of which was ‘pet-friendly’. He provides a ‘fur-fix’ to folks who have had to leave their pets at home.
* Prefer Pacific Grove, Monterey, Capitola, or Carmel, though we are open to other venues.
* Will consider a Boutique or upscale Inn with significant social interaction with Guests (for example: Evening Hors d’oeuvres Reception). “High-touch” interaction improves Guest Satisfaction, hence return Guest visits. Social interaction beyond Checkin/Checkout is frankly important in the life of an Innkeeper; else it’s just a desk job, not Hospitality.

Skills and Experience:

* Computer Literate, including most standard MS Office tools, Website Design, Wireless Router setup etc.
* Familiar with RezOvation/Webervations, CheckInn/DirectInn and myHMS/myCRS Property Management and Booking Engine combinations and variants.
* Excellent Web-based research skills as required for Trend and Competitive Analysis
* Many years of Management assignments responsible for team building, hiring, evaluating, counseling, training, promoting and terminating employees.
* Instructional designer/presenter of Training modules, Operating Procedures and Job-Aids.
